Spidey Tracker began as Ned Leeds’ in-world answer to a very Ned problem: too many Spider-Man signals and no single place to connect them. The official experience pulls that idea out of the story and turns it into a real, browser-based command center.

The map is more fun when its rules are clear. These are the answers most trackers need before they start.

01 Is Spidey Tracker showing Spider-Man’s real live GPS location?

No. The experience combines official campaign updates, events, media and fan-reported sightings. Pins are story signals, not a continuously updating real-world GPS feed.

02 Do I need to download an app?

No. Spidey Tracker runs in your browser. You do not need an App Store listing, an account or a separate install to explore the map and its files.

03 Where do confirmed and rumored sightings come from?

Confirmed pins are tied to official campaign material or activations. Rumored pins can include community tips and sightings that have not been presented as verified evidence.

04 Why does one country have more pins than another?

The campaign reached 35 countries, but coverage is not identical everywhere. Pin density follows official drops, partner events and eligible community submissions, so quieter regions are expected.

05 Does the map require my location?

You can browse the global map without using location-centering. The neighborhood control is optional; declining or skipping it does not stop you from opening sightings.

06 How do I report a sighting or find the newest update?

Share your tip with @SpideyTracker on X and include #SpideyTracker. Check each pin’s status and timestamp for context, because updates do not all arrive on the same schedule.
